History

  • On May 16, 1980, the Epsilon Theta chapter became the 126 th chapter established by the STTI Honor Society of Nursing.
  • We are proud to represent nursing at The University of Texas at Austin with a global professional organization that values Scholarship, Leadership, and Service.

Goals of the chapter

  • We are committed with the nursing community to advancing these ideals and the Sigma values of Love, Courage, and Honor at the University and beyond.
  • We are dedicated to connecting nurses though leadership, volunteering, and research.

More than 100,000 nurse leaders from around the world

are proud to call themselves a Sigma nurse!
